The HCA Program equips students with essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes to excel as frontline caregivers and valued members of healthcare teams. Working under professional supervision, graduates deliver personalized care that enhances clients' physical, emotional, mental, and social health. Hands-on training forms a core component of the curriculum, with clinical placements occurring off-campus. Although most practical training happens near CMTN campuses, some placements may require travel to other Northwest locations. Students are responsible for their own transportation and associated expenses to clinical sites. Clinical rotations may involve diverse shift patterns (including 4-, 6-, 8-, or 12-hour shifts across days, evenings, nights, and weekends).
