The Associate of Arts and Associate of Science Degrees are provincial qualifications provided by numerous institutions within British Columbia's Transfer System. These two-year programs aim to deliver an educational foundation that cultivates well-rounded individuals while establishing a strong base for advanced academic pursuits.
The associate degree program consists of two years of university-level coursework across diverse academic fields. Learners must fulfill a comprehensive selection of courses while also concentrating on specific subject areas. With many students pursuing further education, the program requirements maintain enough adaptability to allow completion of necessary prerequisites for upper-level courses in their chosen specialization.
