The Automotive Service Technician Co-op program, developed in collaboration with the Trillium Automobile Dealers Association (TADA) and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) as part of the Co-Op Diploma (8226) initiative, prepares students for entry-level roles in automotive service and repair. This program emphasizes Automotive Diagnosis and Repair while also covering various aspects of dealership operations. Through its comprehensive curriculum and teaching approaches, participants gain extensive knowledge to thrive in the dynamic setting of contemporary dealership service centers. Upon completion, graduates qualify for Apprentice Automotive Service Technician roles. In addition to technical expertise and product familiarity, participants cultivate problem-solving abilities and diagnostic procedures that enhance their professional competence and marketability to employers.
