The Environmental Technician (Fast-Track) program enables eligible college or university graduates to enter directly into the second year (Semester 3) of this two-year program, earning their Technician diploma in just one year (two semesters).
This curriculum equips students for careers in the expanding environmental technology sector by addressing three core areas: biology, chemistry, and civil engineering, while developing skills to assess and address complex environmental challenges. The program emphasizes practical experience, with training on equipment used for water and soil testing, ecological fieldwork, chemical analysis, and land surveying.
Graduates gain a distinctive blend of technical expertise that significantly broadens their career prospects. The program has earned the President's Academic Program Recognition awards for both Quality of the Learning Experience and Outstanding Graduate Satisfaction.
