Centennial College's two-semester Bookkeeping certificate program provides a direct route to earning the Certified Bookkeeper designation from the Canadian Institute of Bookkeeping (CIB). Becoming a CIB member creates opportunities for diverse roles such as bookkeeper, accounts receivable/payable supervisor, payroll administrator, and office manager.

After finishing this certificate program, you can transfer credits into Centennial's two- or three-year Accounting programs to pursue either a diploma or advanced diploma.
Learning Outcomes

You'll develop skills to:

Perform full bookkeeping duties within the accounting cycle, handling accounts receivable, payable, inventory, and payroll with appropriate software and systems;
Utilize generally accepted accounting principles to generate financial statements and reports for sole proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations;
