Centennial College's Biotechnology - Advanced Fast-Track program allows eligible college or university graduates to enter directly into the second year (Semester 3) of the three-year Biotechnology program, earning their advanced technologist diploma in just two years (four semesters).
Through the Biotechnology - Advanced (Fast Track) curriculum, students master scientific principles, techniques, and practical skills for careers in industrial microbiology and chemistry. The program also covers specialized topics including biotechnology applications, biochemistry, microbial genetics, plus clinical and environmental microbiology.

Students will balance theoretical knowledge with hands-on technical training while having numerous chances to expand their expertise. Faculty-guided project work further strengthens abilities in research, lab techniques, report preparation, and professional presentations.
