Centennial College's School of Community and Health Studies administers the standardized Pre-Service Firefighter Education and Training graduate certificate program, following Ontario's established guidelines. This curriculum was developed in collaboration with the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs (OAFC) and the Ontario Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM), ensuring it meets provincial standards.

This intensive one-year college program blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, cultivating expertise in dynamic fields including fire suppression, emergency rescue, and environmental conservation. Progress Campus hosts the academic components taught by veteran fire service professionals, while practical training occurs at Ajax Fire Services' facilities. The Emergency Patient Care EMR course leverages Morningside Campus's advanced medical laboratory resources.
