The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Religion offers specialized education for graduates from other disciplines seeking focused study in Religious Studies.
This program mainly serves students aiming to enter the MA in Religion and Public Life, particularly those who hold a bachelor's degree in another subject with at least a B average (8.0 GPA on Carleton's 12.0 scale) and need foundational knowledge in Religious Studies methodologies. Completion of this diploma is mandatory before enrollment in our MA in Religion and Public Life program.

Qualification Requirements
Admission to this Post-Baccalaureate Diploma requires the permission of the Religion program. Normally, students are required to have completed an undergraduate degree with a minimum B- average or higher. Applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
