Data Science represents the cutting edge of IT innovation, yet only a handful of academic institutions currently provide programming in this field. Carleton University's innovative joint master's program in Data Science targets both graduate students and tech professionals seeking expertise in processing and leveraging massive datasets from government agencies, corporations, non-profits, and other organizations. These skills enable applications ranging from personalized e-commerce suggestions to optimizing healthcare systems or identifying potential security risks.

Participants will obtain their degree within one of the specified academic fields while specializing in Data Science (or pursuing an MBA with a Business Analytics focus), completing either research projects or coursework focused on real-world data challenges.

Through strategic collaborations, Carleton aims to establish itself as Canada's premier center for data science education and research. The program will develop top-tier talent for regional, national, and global markets while cultivating future technology pioneers. Situated in Ottawa with deep ties to the capital's tech industry, Carleton is uniquely positioned to train the next wave of data science experts.
