The Electrical and Computer Engineering program is delivered collaboratively by the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering and the Department of Electronics within the Faculty of Engineering and Design. Carleton has established recognition in this discipline, preparing skilled graduates for diverse projects spanning from high-speed, high-frequency circuits to optical fiber communication systems. Our distinguished faculty conduct research across multiple domains including biomedical engineering, computer science, electrical systems, engineering analysis, multimedia technologies, software development, signal/image processing, and telecommunications.
The normal requirement for admission to a master's program is a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline with a CGPA of B+.
