The Electrical and Computer Engineering program is a collaborative initiative between the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering and the Department of Electronics within the Faculty of Engineering and Design. Carleton University has established a strong reputation in this discipline, preparing skilled graduates for diverse projects spanning high-speed circuits to optical communication systems. Our distinguished faculty conduct cutting-edge research across multiple domains including biomedical technologies, computing systems, electrical systems, engineering analysis, multimedia applications, software development, signal processing, and telecommunications.
This program is additionally available through the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Electrical and Computer Engineering, providing students access to Canada's most extensive resources through partnerships with both Carleton and the University of Ottawa.
