The North American Business Management Post Baccalaureate program (NABU) equips international students with essential business management competencies for careers in North America.
This curriculum offers international students and new permanent residents pathways to acquire North American business qualifications, enhance English proficiency, and obtain practical work experience.
Through this business management diploma program, you'll examine both the social and governmental aspects of North American commerce while developing key management techniques through instruction and community partnerships.
Program objectives
Perform research and strategic assessments to inform business decisions for management roles in Canadian profit and non-profit enterprises.
Display financial literacy by executing financial, marketing, operational, and human resource strategies tailored to North American businesses.
Embody North American values of diversity, teamwork, corporate ethics, and social responsibility in professional contexts.
Leverage digital tools and communication technologies to process information, generate insights, and engage with stakeholders effectively.
Demonstrate clear, purposeful English communication skills in both spoken and written formats for professional settings.
Completion of an undergraduate degree from a recognized institution with a cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 2.5 or higher with preference given to students with a 3.0 or higher on their final two years of study
Students with backgrounds other than business degrees, economics degrees or the equivalent will be required to complete a Business Essentials course
English Language Requirements
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): paper =560 internet=83, or
English Language Assessment (ELA)=145, or
International English Language Testing System (Academic IELTS)=6.5 overall, and no one score less than 6.0, or
Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL)=70, or
Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic)=56, or
CapU EAP 100 and 101 with a minimum B+ grade in each course, or
from approved pathway partner.
