A single glance at island living reveals CBU's uniqueness: a dedicated institution committed to global betterment. Our legacy of innovation and teamwork drives us forward with unwavering momentum.
CBU provides an engineering transfer program in partnership with Dalhousie University, standing among select institutions offering introductory coursework across all six engineering fields: civil, environmental, electrical, industrial, mechanical, and chemical engineering. Students complete the initial two years of the four-year Bachelor of Engineering at CBU before transitioning to Dalhousie for the final two years. The program's first year serves as a foundation for all specializations, with students selecting their discipline at year's end and applying simultaneously to both institutions for their chosen field.
Dual registration occurs during the second year at CBU and Dalhousie, with the concluding two years exclusively at Dalhousie.
An alternative pathway allows students to pair their Engineering Diploma with a BSc in chemistry or mathematics. This option involves an additional year at CBU to finish the science degree before completing the engineering requirements during two final years at Dalhousie.
