Social workers are driven by a commitment to social transformation and a deep dedication to equity. If you feel called to support individuals during challenging moments or emergencies, a social work career could be your ideal choice. Camosun College provides a two-year associate degree program tailored to launch your journey in social work. This degree encompasses diverse interdisciplinary courses such as sociology, psychology, gender studies, First Nations studies, public policy, and literature. As an associate degree candidate, you'll benefit from top-tier academic guidance, a structured educational trajectory with opportunities for intellectual exploration.
