Workers form the core of any company, with HR specialists playing a vital role in developing and maintaining a productive team. This curriculum includes all nine essential classes needed to fulfill the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario's (HRPA) academic prerequisites, marking the initial phase toward earning the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) certification.
Enhance your current skills while studying hiring practices, employee development, corporate leadership, pay structures, workplace negotiations, and additional topics. Acquire practical knowledge through a seven-week internship during your last term.
Applicants must be graduates of a diploma, advanced diploma, or degree program from an Ontario College or equivalent.
OR
Applicant must possess five years of work experience in a related field (or combination of education and work experience) as judged by the College to be equivalent. Applicants must submit a resume detailing their related experience and a cover letter outlining their competencies and preparedness for the program.
Highly Recommended:
Computer competency in relevant software
Some familiarity with basic accounting principles
English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 (no band under 6.0), TOEFL 570 (paper-based test) 84 (internet-based test) and PTE (Pearson) 61.
