Prepare to become an essential part of a rehabilitation team, assisting clients whose functional abilities have been affected by injury, illness, or medical conditions. Occupational therapy assistants (OTA) and physiotherapist assistants (PTA) provide crucial support under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists (OT) and physiotherapists (PT). OTs assist clients in enhancing their engagement in important daily activities, while PTs concentrate on improving physical mobility.

The program blends hands-on training with academic learning through interactive classroom sessions, practical lab work, and 540 hours of clinical experience across diverse healthcare environments. As a key contributor to patient care teams, you'll guide clients through rehabilitation programs to help them thrive in both their personal and work lives.
