Prepare for a dynamic fire service career through our rigorous one-year program, developed in collaboration with fire departments and local communities. This immersive experience combines extensive hands-on practice with comprehensive testing. Train in real-world scenarios at our campus firefighter lab, including controlled live fire exercises conducted with the City of Greater Sudbury Fire Services and partner organizations. Stay fit with unlimited access to the Athletics Centre and weight training facilities.

Our program aligns with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards NFPA 1001 and NFPA 1072. Upon completion, graduates qualify to take the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) Provincial Firefighter exam and pursue Firefighter Level I and Level II certification through Proboard.
