Geography encompasses a wide-ranging field that blends aspects of social and natural sciences. The discipline is primarily divided into two branches - human geography and physical geography - united by shared foundations: a joint focus on human-environment interactions and a framework of interconnected theories and methods. At Brock University, geography students can select between these degree options: BA in Geography or BSc in Geography. Students maintaining at least a 70% average in their major may enter the Honours program at any stage, which allows for deeper exploration of geographical topics. Detailed descriptions of these programs appear in later sections.
