Biophysics explores the physical principles governing living organisms and their interactions with natural and artificial environments. This dynamic discipline integrates diverse approaches from natural and life sciences, employing theoretical models, experimental techniques, and advanced computational simulations to study biological systems at molecular scales.
The field also serves as a foundation for medical physics, an area experiencing significant growth and professional demand.
At Brock University, the Biophysics program offers exceptional academic resources and research possibilities. Students can further enhance their experience through the Biophysics Interdepartmental Group (BIG) partnership with the University of Guelph, which provides expanded research opportunities.
