The Foundation in Entertainment Arts certificate is a comprehensive one-year, full-time program offered by the Centre for Entertainment Arts (CEA), designed to equip students for higher education in animation, visual effects, or game development. Aspiring entertainment arts professionals will learn essential observation, representation, and foundational visual decision-making skills across multiple mediums. Through courses including figure drawing, color theory, sculpting, and others, participants will enhance their ability to produce more vivid, fluid, and cohesive artwork while building a solid technical foundation. Program completers will be ideally prepared to enroll in intermediate or advanced studies aligned with their career aspirations in the entertainment field. The program accepts new students in September, January, and May.
