Our department provides multiple degree choices for students, including a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biology, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology, as well as Minors in both Biochemistry and Biology. The Biology B.Sc. and B.A. programs feature two specialized tracks: health sciences or biodiversity and ecology.
The B.A. in Biology has fewer mandatory courses compared to the B.Sc. programs, enabling students to pursue a second major (such as Psychology, Environmental Studies, or another field) while gaining a strong grounding in biological sciences. Similar to the Biology B.Sc. programs, students must choose between the health sciences or biodiversity and ecology concentrations.

International High School Students: You are considered an international high school student for admission purposes if you: are currently completing secondary school at a country outside of Canada or the USA; or you completed secondary school at a country outside of Canada or the USA within the last two years and you have not studied elsewhere since completing your secondary school studies

Applicants who do not meet the posted requirements may be considered on an individual basis. In those cases, the Admissions Office may request additional information in addition to that indicated below.
Normally have completed 12 years of formal schooling and received a secondary school credential that would permit you access to university in that country. If you are studying at or have graduated from secondary school in a country where secondary school finishes after only 11 years of formal schooling your application will be evaluated on an individual basis.
Minimum average required varies depending upon curriculum followed; transcripts are reviewed on an individual basis.
