The university offers two B.Sc. Biology degree options: an honours track and a major program. Each requires students to choose between two specializations: health sciences or biodiversity and ecology. Both programs establish a solid base in fundamental sciences (including mathematics, physics, and chemistry) while delivering comprehensive biological education. The honours program further enables students to conduct independent research projects. Graduates with a B.Sc. in Biology gain excellent preparation for advanced academic pursuits (such as M.Sc. or Ph.D. programs) or professional training in fields like medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, or veterinary medicine.
