Our curriculum spans diverse topics, each centered on the fundamental elements and mechanisms of living systems. From examining essential biological molecules to analyzing complete ecosystems, our programs aim to equip students with knowledge across life science disciplines while enhancing their skills for deeper exploration.
Students can choose from multiple degree paths: a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biology, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology, plus Minors in both Biochemistry and Biology. The Biology B.Sc. and B.A. degrees feature two specializations: health sciences or biodiversity and ecology.
We offer two Biochemistry B.Sc. options: an honours program and a major program. Both provide comprehensive training in biology, biochemistry, and chemistry. The honours program additionally includes an independent research component. Biochemistry graduates are exceptionally prepared for advanced studies (M.Sc./Ph.D.) or professional programs like medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, or veterinary medicine.
