Bishop's University offers a Secondary Teacher Education Program structured in two phases, culminating in dual degrees: either a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with a Double Major in Education and a teaching subject, followed by a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). This dual-degree pathway is mandatory for obtaining a Quebec teaching license, known as a "brevet d'enseignement." Please note this certification is valid solely within Quebec. Those intending to teach elsewhere in Canada should directly consult the respective province's Ministry of Education to determine any supplementary requirements for teacher certification in that region.
