The Sociology Department equips students with essential theoretical frameworks, methodological approaches, and substantive knowledge to comprehend social structures, interactions, and behaviors. Our curriculum offers a comprehensive sociological foundation, preparing students for diverse career paths and postgraduate education. With our intimate program size and committed faculty, we
deliver personalized guidance and direct faculty engagement. The program's required courses and specialized concentrations enable students to tailor their education to personal interests while building career-ready skills. Students can pursue a minor, major, or honors degree in Sociology, along with six specialized study tracks (see below: "Areas of Concentration in Sociology"). We strongly recommend participation in our Experiential Learning initiative, combining academic coursework with practical organizational placements relevant to students' fields of study.
