These interdisciplinary programs are collaboratively provided by the Departments of Economics & Politics and International Studies. International Political Economy, as a scholarly discipline, explores the connections between production systems and resource allocation across private and public sectors. It's important to highlight that these programs maintain a strong global perspective, particularly considering how globalization influences national economic systems.
For the B.A. Major in International Political Economy, students complete a minimum of 48 credits, evenly split between Politics/International Studies and Economics (24 credits each). The Honours program requires at least 60 credits, with an equal distribution of 30 credits from both Politics/International Studies and Economics.
