The Department of Environment and Geography provides diverse courses exploring the relationship between humanity and nature. To fully grasp human-environment dynamics, individuals must comprehend both natural science principles and humanity's environmental impacts across local, regional, and global contexts. Understanding environmental changes - their mechanisms and causes - is essential. Critical challenges like climate change, acid rain, ozone layer depletion, waste disposal, and water preservation demand in-depth analysis to inform sound policy decisions by leaders across government, business, and nonprofit sectors. Our program conducts comprehensive environmental studies to prepare graduates for meaningful contributions to our planet's future.
