Assiniboine's two-year Network Administration Technology diploma equips students for careers as computer network administrators. The competencies developed in this program can also help prepare for industry certifications including current CompTia, Microsoft, and Cisco credentials.
Network professionals create, operate, maintain, and oversee local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs), mainframe systems, and associated hardware and software components. They implement and manage extranet, intranet, and internet services while optimizing network connectivity and performance.
These specialists find employment in IT departments across both private and public sector organizations. Their training prepares them for roles involving troubleshooting data, wireless, and voice networks, as well as installing and maintaining computer hardware and software systems.
