This one-year Energy Management Ontario College Graduate Certificate equips you for a dynamic career in the evolving energy sector's shift toward sustainable practices.

Gain expertise in renewable technologies, sustainability initiatives, conservation methods, and demand-side management strategies. Engage in hands-on lab work, collaborate on practical projects, and examine real-world case studies from the energy management field. Throughout the program, you'll develop skills to implement, oversee, and improve energy management systems. By assessing data, analyzing renewable technology impacts, evaluating energy efficiency measures, and conducting cost-benefit analyses, you'll acquire valuable industry-recognized competencies.

In your final term, you'll team up with classmates and industry professionals to develop a comprehensive energy management project. Through classroom collaboration, you'll design an organizational energy strategy and prepare a business case to justify your proposed solutions.

The program offers an optional paid co-operative education (co-op) opportunity for practical experience (see Additional Information section). Please be aware that co-op positions are limited and dependent on both availability and academic performance. Admission to the co-op program doesn't ensure a co-op placement.
