This one-year Energy Management Ontario College Graduate Certificate equips you for a dynamic career in the evolving energy sector's shift toward sustainable practices.

Gain expertise in renewable technologies, sustainability initiatives, conservation methods, and demand-side management strategies. Engage in hands-on lab work, collaborate on practical projects, and examine real-world case studies from the energy management field. Throughout the program, you'll develop skills to implement, oversee, and improve energy management systems. By assessing data, analyzing renewable technology impacts, evaluating energy efficiency measures, and conducting cost-benefit analyses, you'll acquire valuable industry-recognized competencies.

In your final term, you'll team up with classmates and industry professionals on an energy management initiative. Through classroom collaboration, you'll design an organizational energy strategy and develop a compelling business case to justify your proposed solutions.

The program offers an optional paid co-operative education (co-op) opportunity for practical experience (see Additional Information). Availability of co-op positions depends on both program openings and academic performance. Admission to the co-op stream doesn't ensure placement.
