This two-year Outdoor Adventure Ontario College Diploma equips students for careers in outdoor leadership, guiding adventure excursions, and instructing wilderness skills. Approximately 50% of the program involves hands-on outdoor training across diverse locations and adventure facilities, including the partner training site at Wilderness Tours. The remaining coursework occurs at Algonquin College's Waterfront Campus.

Students receive specialized instruction in multiple land-based pursuits ranging from mountain biking and rock climbing to winter sports like skiing and ice climbing. The program also develops water-based guiding competencies through activities such as:

whitewater rafting
kayaking
wilderness canoe expeditions
