This 43-week compressed Outdoor Adventure Naturalist Ontario College Diploma program prepares students for professional roles in the soft adventure and ecotourism industry. Over two years, you'll learn to guide and educate clients through natural environment interpretation and led outdoor activities (LOAs). We deliver this program in partnership with Wilderness Tours, Canada's premier outdoor adventure company.

Students gain hands-on experience through about 600 hours of field studies and practical skills training in outdoor learning environments.

The curriculum covers essential skills including:

flatwater canoeing
kayak expeditions
whitewater rafting
leave-no-trace camping and wilderness survival techniques

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
