This three-year advanced diploma program in Child and Youth Care equips you to assist at-risk children, adolescents, and families facing challenging circumstances.

Gain expertise in various prevention and intervention approaches that promote constructive transformation and healthy growth. Evaluate the capabilities and requirements of young individuals and families, then design tailored support plans. Implement relationship-focused methods, real-world engagement techniques, and inclusive practices when assisting young people and their families. The curriculum combines classroom learning with hands-on field placement opportunities.

Through practical placements, you'll grow into a skilled and self-assured child and youth care professional. Upon completion, you'll have accumulated substantial experience across two distinct child and youth care settings, with three-day weekly placements during your final two years of study.
