This eight-month, two-semester certificate program provides an integrated approach for students to further their studies in the growing Environmental Science discipline. With diverse course options across Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Geology, participants can tailor their learning experience to specific interests while gaining valuable research skills. The program delivers adaptable, top-tier education that enables students to deepen their Environmental Science knowledge through a curriculum emphasizing practical research applications.
University undergraduate degree with a minimum of 70% or (B) overall average. International
applicants must provide documentation of language proficiency as per Algoma University’s current language requirements.
Applicants for this program must not have a post-graduate credential in the same or closely related field.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
The graduate certificate requirements for the Graduate certificate in Environmental Science requires a minimum 60% cumulative average for all courses required for the certificate.
Language Requirements: IELTS of 6.0 overall with a minimum of 6.0 on all bands.
