The University's psychology program remains among its most sought-after offerings. With intimate class sizes, students benefit from personalized guidance and closer faculty relationships. Beyond core methodology courses required for the degree, we provide diverse psychological studies spanning two primary domains: social foundations of behavior and biological underpinnings of behavior. While psychology is commonly associated with diagnosing and treating atypical thoughts and behaviors, our program reveals the discipline's broader spectrum.
A psychology degree serves as a launchpad for students' future endeavors. We cultivate dedication, motivation, and critical analysis skills applicable to scientific data, human/animal behavior, and general scientific inquiry - competencies highly valued by employers. Our alumni have pursued advanced degrees including Master's and PhD programs, while others have entered law, education, speech pathology, audiology, forensic psychology, and neuroscience careers.
