Alberta University of the Arts provides western Canada's sole specialized glass program. Merge critical thinking abilities pertinent to modern glass artistry with knowledge of materials and technical methods to articulate your personal connection to current art trends, the global glass community, and craft principles while cultivating a distinctive, progressive studio glass practice. The Glass program exposes students to diverse methods and material exploration tactics. Learners can concentrate on technique-focused paths like kiln work or blown glass, or choose self-directed routes within our curriculum to achieve conceptual artistic goals.
