Enhancing sustainable food production to support a rising population amid unpredictable and worsening environmental conditions is a worldwide imperative. Developing agricultural systems that align with both social and environmental sustainability objectives is crucial for promoting public health. This postgraduate program caters to science graduates pursuing careers in agricultural technology innovation, R&D, policy-making, and executive leadership. Graduates will acquire the analytical, technical, and problem-solving capabilities needed to assess challenges and propose effective solutions in the dynamic realm of agricultural science. The curriculum culminates with a capstone project, offering students the opportunity to synthesize their accumulated knowledge through either research or industry-based professional work.
Applicants must have successfully completed an undergraduate degree, or higher, in natural or physical science, medical science, environmental studies, agriculture, horticulture, food science, food technology, nutrition or dietetics.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 6.5 overall score (min 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL internet-based score of 82: Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 58 overall; No communication skills less than 50.
