The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is a supervised academic program focused on original research. This degree is ideal for individuals who possess some research background but don't yet qualify for direct admission to a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program.
An MPhil requires less extensive research compared to a PhD. In certain situations, students may transition from an MPhil to a PhD program.
The MPhil can be completed in as little as one year of full-time study, with a maximum duration of two years full-time, or its part-time equivalent.

To be eligible for admission, you must have previously completed at least one of the following qualifications:

Qualifications from a university or other tertiary institution equivalent to the above.
