Upon completing this program, you'll enter an evidence-backed allied health field where music serves as a therapeutic tool for individuals across all ages and life circumstances (including those supported by the National Disability Insurance Scheme), addressing cognitive, communicative, physical, social, and emotional needs.
Many alumni from the Master of Creative Music Therapy pursue further research opportunities through our Master of Research or PhD programs.
Duration: 2 years
An applicant for a Masters coursework degree program must either hold: a Bachelor degree or an overseas qualification from a recognised university or tertiary institution that is equivalent to a Bachelor degree, or A Graduate Diploma from a recognised tertiary institution or university.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 6.5 overall score (min 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL internet-based score of 82: Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 58 overall; No communication skills less than 50.
