Psychology is the scientific discipline that employs research methods to study and interpret human behavior and mental processes. Professionally, it applies psychological principles to address real-world behavioral challenges. The curriculum covers key psychological domains including: psychology's historical roots, biological foundations, learning theories, social influences, developmental stages, sensory systems, personality traits, and cognitive functions.
The Graduate Diploma of Psychological Studies, recognized by APAC, fulfills the initial three-year psychology education requirement. This program provides the foundation for pursuing an accredited fourth year in psychology, though it does not constitute that final year itself.
Available as an 18-month full-time or 3-year part-time program.
Applicants must have successfully completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline (Non Psychology major or Psychology major older than 10 years).
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 6.5 overall score (min 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL internet-based score of 82: Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 58 overall; No communication skills less than 50.
