Speech pathology evaluates and addresses communication disorders affecting speech, voice, language, and swallowing in individuals of all ages. Gain transformative skills through this program to positively impact people's lives.
During the initial two years, students integrate evidence-based speech pathology training with foundational knowledge in biomedical science, health studies, linguistics, and psychology. This builds core professional skills for ethical practice, quality care, and effective teamwork. The last two years emphasize advanced speech pathology concepts and hands-on clinical experience, applying learned techniques during community-based patient care placements.
Students must have Successful completion of Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 7.0 overall score, minimum 6.5 in writing and reading, 7.0 in speaking and listening; TOEFL internet-based: Total score 94
Writing and Reading 24; Speaking and Listening 23; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 65 overall; minimum 58 in writing and reading, 65 in listening and speaking.
