This program is tailored to address the growing need for specialized knowledge in disability support, advocacy, and service provision. Shifts in international policies and social care systems have created emerging job opportunities in disability services, and this major prepares professionals with comprehensive understanding of current disability-related challenges.
Combining coursework from Social Sciences and Health Sciences disciplines, the program examines modern approaches to disability studies. Participants will investigate inclusive methodologies and assess how social policies influence the rights of individuals with disabilities.

Successful completion of Year 12 with an ATAR of 60, successful completion of a recognised foundation studies program, 1 year of university studies or completion of a qualification equivalent to an Australian AQF Certificate IV.
2 years full-time study at a recognised postsecondary institution where the language of instruction is English.
