Human-animal relationships are growing more frequent as we depend on animals for both companionship and agricultural needs. This program provides comprehensive knowledge of these dynamics by exploring animal behavior, health, welfare, nutrition, production, reproduction, and human-animal bonds. Students gain hands-on experience through on-campus facilities housing reptiles, native mammals, sheep, cattle, and deer, along with off-site partnerships with wildlife parks, zoos, and farms.

This program opens doors to diverse career prospects worldwide in animal science fields. Alumni may pursue roles as animal welfare specialists, life scientists, quarantine inspectors, animal-focused journalists, or advance into research, education, or government and industry positions.
