Human-animal relationships are growing more frequent as we depend on animals for both companionship and agricultural needs. This program provides comprehensive knowledge through coursework in animal behavior, health, welfare, nutrition, production, reproduction, and human-animal relationships. Students gain hands-on experience using on-campus facilities housing reptiles, native mammals, sheep, cattle, and deer, along with off-site locations like wildlife parks, zoos, and farms.
This degree opens doors to numerous rewarding professions worldwide within animal science. Alumni may pursue roles as animal welfare specialists, life scientists, biosecurity officers, animal media correspondents, or advance into research, education, or government and industry positions.
