This program focuses on the theories and technologies behind creating distributed applications for mobile devices. Graduates will master key concepts involving mobile hardware, data storage, transmission methods, and network communications. They'll learn to recognize, evaluate, and develop solutions for practical challenges in mobile technology, while considering user interface design principles and ethical concerns - especially regarding data security, privacy, and user behavior patterns with mobile applications.

To continue in this program, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 5. Those failing to meet this requirement will be moved to the Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology degree.

2 years full-time study at a recognised postsecondary institution where the language of instruction is English.
