Healthcare data is increasingly being recorded digitally, with cutting-edge technologies being utilized in creative approaches to enhance clinical care delivery. This program focuses on developing knowledge of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) applications in healthcare, covering electronic medical records, healthcare analytics, medical fundamentals and disease categorization, as well as healthcare system integration and architecture. The specialization equips learners to address future ICT demands in healthcare while providing the expertise needed for careers with leading healthcare institutions and technology vendors.
Participants must sustain a minimum GPA of 5 to continue in the program. Students failing to meet this requirement will be moved to the Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology degree.
