The Bachelor of Industrial Design (Honours) program fosters professional readiness through an innovative learning culture emphasizing user-focused methodologies, skill-based education, studio-project learning, applied research, and design innovation. Graduates emerge as creative problem-solvers and entrepreneurial designers, capable of navigating complex challenges. You'll gain experience working solo or within teams on product development, user experience design, service systems, and manufacturing processes.
The curriculum concludes with a capstone industrial design project aimed at producing groundbreaking work that can lead to industry positions, advanced academic research, or deeper exploration of design's societal impact on individuals, environments, and economies, while developing both independent and collaborative working abilities.
