Industrial design plays a crucial role in contemporary life. We interact daily with thoughtfully designed products meant to simplify our routines. Industrial designers, who employ creative and interdisciplinary problem-solving techniques, develop these practical solutions.
Our Industrial Design program's core mission is to produce graduates who are fully prepared for industry demands, capable of strategic thinking, and skilled at delivering creative design solutions in business settings. The curriculum highlights design's societal impact on individuals, ecosystems, and economic systems while fostering both independent and teamwork abilities.
Students must complete a 10-week industry placement that enhances professional growth, frequently resulting in final-year project opportunities and sometimes immediate job offers after graduation. Our graduates also qualify for membership in the Design Institute of Australia – the nation's premier professional organization for designers.
Students must have Successful completion of Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.
