Human civilization is confronting growing difficulties due to shifting climate patterns, population growth, and industrial expansion. Conventional methods for addressing environmental issues require reevaluation and should incorporate circular economy principles, life cycle analysis, climate-smart approaches, and digital transformation. In this program, students examine diverse challenges related to water supply, food production, infrastructure, and energy, then develop innovative design solutions employing comprehensive, forward-thinking, and sustainable technologies and methodologies. Through practical, real-world projects, students investigate solutions that combine technical, technological (IoT), social, cultural, geographical, regulatory, and ethical considerations. This program prepares students for careers including Environmental Engineer/Scientist/Consultant, Natural Resources Manager, Waste Engineer/Manager/Consultant, and Sustainability Engineer/Manager/Consultant.
