The Cybersecurity program prepares students with comprehensive expertise in information security systems. In our interconnected digital world, safeguarding networks against diverse threats has become critically important. Cybersecurity plays a vital role in modern information infrastructure.
This specialization teaches core security principles and protective measures, ranging from elementary cryptographic methods to their implementation in computing and network environments. Learners will master essential security theories, hands-on development of protective software, and ethical penetration testing methods to defend digital assets.
Students must have Successful completion of Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 6.5 overall score (min 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL internet-based score of 82: Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 58 overall; No communication skills less than 50.
